I vividly remember my first visit to the Southwest United States nearly three decades ago. As I watched the sun rise over the Grand Canyon, its beauty forever captured my heart. I remember bold splashes of color at Lake Powell, fascinating shapes of Arches National Park and the mysterious remnants of Anasazi cultures that were as foreign to me as those of another country. Coming from a childhood home that was landscaped in green plains, I was thrilled with the prospects of exploring this big, wonderful land. Since that time, I’ve had the privilege to hike, bike, raft, fly over and travel the Southwest in almost every way possible. It is an endless and breathtaking journey.

Some years later, I met my husband at the bottom of Grand Canyon and we’ve spent our life together exploring, planning and guiding trips.
